Job Description
The Painter is responsible for applying various finishes to buildings, rooms and other structures on campus, and maintaining the campus paint inventory and tracking safety data sheets for the paint and finish materials. This position will prepare, cleans and tapes all jobsites, and repairs drywall finishes with tape and drywall mud before applying finishing coats of primer and paint.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs., and stand, bend, lift and move heavy objects for extended periods of time.
- Must be physically capable of climbing and working off tall ladders and/or scaffolding.
- Must be able to distinguish colors.
- 3 years of prior related work experience in painting, dry walling, plastering, preparing surfaces and painting mixtures and stains as well as working with hand tools, sanders and related painting equipment required.
- The ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships with students, staff and faculty.
Schedule
40 Hours/ 12 Months/ Monday – Friday
