In accordance with professional Advance Practice Nurse standards and physician collaboration, coordinates care of the adult medical patient, develops treatment plans, provides treatment as indicated, and monitors clinical activities. Uses evidence-based guidelines for care. Utilizes effective communication methods to ensure interdisciplinary collaboration and patient support/advocacy. Maintains a culturally sensitive and customer focused manner to promote patient satisfaction.
The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner will:
- Assess and provide care for the patients under the direction of the collaborating physician.
- Document care provided in the medical record.
- Provide educational activities which promote quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
- Currently Advance Practice Nursing licensure in the State of New Jersey.
- Currently CDS and DEA required.
- Master's degree in nursing required.
- Minimum two (2) years experience in an OB/GYN practice.
- Certified as a nurse practitioner in the State of New Jersey within area of specialty.
- BLS and ACLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
