Part Time School Crossing Guard

The Crossing Guard plays a vital role in ensuring the safety of children and pedestrians at designated crosswalks, particularly during school hours. This position requires a dedicated individual who can effectively manage traffic and communicate with both drivers and pedestrians to facilitate safe crossings. Responsibilities

• Monitor traffic flow at designated crossing points to ensure safe passage for students and pedestrians.
• Communicate clearly with drivers to direct traffic and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Assist children in safely crossing streets by providing clear instructions and guidance.
• Remain vigilant and alert to potential hazards or unsafe situations, taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Report any incidents or unsafe conditions to the appropriate authorities promptly.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with students, parents, and community members.
• Participate in training sessions related to safety protocols, emergency response, and compliance management.
