What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer (CDL) position at SAK Construction?
SAK Construction has immediate openings for Construction Laborers in the Kansas City, MO area. SAK is an industry leader in pipeline rehabilitation (CIPP) and tunnel construction. Responsibilities:
- Work effectively with supervisors and peers in the successful rehabilitation and repair of a variety of sewer and storm water lines
- Direct operators of construction equipment with alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to location needs
- Drive various vehicles, from pickups to tractor-trailer rigs, to haul crews and equipment
- Assist in initial setup and cleanup of sites
- Review entry and work permits; and assist in the review of pre and post installation videos
- Enter manhole to cut line for installation
- Other tasks, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have experience working in the CIPP industry or an active CDL and outdoor construction experience
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
- Ability to comprehend instructions accurately to learn company's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment use
- Must successfully pass a drug test, as well as driver’s license check for past 5 years without any suspensions or major traffic violations
- Must be able to travel, as much as 90% as needed
