Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Greet all guests and members, provide towels, monitor pool safety, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Maintain full knowledge of retail items and bike rentals. Act as cashier and manage payment and release forms.
- Set up and break down pool furniture, umbrellas, bikes, and equipment as directed by management.
- Perform regular walk-throughs to ensure pool area cleanliness and organization.
- Enforce safety standards in and around pool areas.
- Assist in the execution of poolside activities and events for guests and members.
- Inspect the pool area regularly, replacing or repairing equipment and furnishings as needed (e.g., umbrellas, chairs).
- Adhere to and enforce all pool and hotel safety rules.
- Prioritize and fulfill guest requests promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with hotel operations and policies.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the manager.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (including First Aid & CPR).
- 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred.
- Customer service experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in the primary language used in the workplace.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of basic hotel operations and guest service standards.
- Ability to follow written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions and resolve practical problems.
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time).
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, stretch, and lift up to 30 lbs regularly.
- Continuous use of hearing, vision (including near vision and depth perception), and verbal communication.
- Must be able to operate all equipment related to the role, including mountain bikes and point-of-sale systems.
- Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (includes First Aid & CPR)
