SUMMARY:
The Inside Sales Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) will respond to inbound Salem Five leads and review applications submitted electronically for residential mortgage loans. The MLO proactively solicits new residential mortgage business and sells Bank mortgage products to meet established loan quality and production goals. In this on-going sales role, the MLO will provide timely communication and be well known for your quick and efficient responsiveness.
The Inside Sales MLO responds to customer inquiries and referrals that are generated from both their own contacts and from multiple Salem Five business lines. The MLO duties include loan application interviews with prospective borrowers, analyzing financial and credit data, determining customer financing objectives, advising clients of product/pricing and guidelines, and gathers any documentation required to process loans.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Meets the required SLA (Service Level Agreement) on responsiveness to client outreach/lead distribution.
- Facilitate the taking of mortgage applications as necessitated by customers on assigned leads/referrals.
- Complete applications in accordance with company policy, compliance, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with any and all internal and external customers and other mortgage employees as required to ensure Salem Five customer service standards are met or exceeded.
- Compliance with banking laws and regulations as defined in company policies and procedures pertinent to position.

- Strive to meet/exceed sales goals and conversion rates on distributed leads
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
NMLS license and minimum of 6 months lending experience preferred but not required. Strong time management and organizational skills required; exceptional customer service and communication skills required; ability to work in a fast-paced sales driven environment required.
