Job Summary: The Director of Business Development - Charlotte will be responsible for recruiting and developing an industry leading sales team and executing our proven Salem One enterprise sales process. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in client outcome-based sales leadership success. Our Charlotte location is a world class facility with a focus on consumer facing Signage, POS / POP, Kitting and Fulfillment. The successful candidate will have relevant experience and a track record of success in this space.
Key Responsibilities:
-Growing your personal sales and client relationships leveraging your unique technical knowledge and ability to deliver the full Salem One value proposition to larger, enterprise relationships.
-Leading, managing and developing our Charlotte location sales team. As the leader, you will ensure that we have an active corporate sales pipeline focused on strategic growth in new, enterprise relationships where Salem One adds unique value.
-You will be responsible and accountable for performance metrics within our Charlotte based sales team as outlined in our team and financial objectives. You will also be responsible for hiring and developing future enterprise level development talent as we grow this exciting market.
-Leading our regional and national level engagement and relationships with the retail signage and POS industry. This includes maintaining and growing our reputation as a proven Innovation leader leveraging authority marketing techniques and attending relevant conferences and trade shows.
-Providing leadership and focus to our strategic vendor partner relationships and proactively leading business case development for future equipment purchases that align with growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5 years of proven experience in a senior enterprise sales or sales leadership role.
- Demonstrated and measurable success in developing enterprise client solutions.
- Strong & Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Proven ability to scale revenue within a fast growth organization.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in the application of CRM tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
