Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Immunization Nurse is to provide immunizations within the clinic system. Under the direction of their Clinic Manager and following protocols as established by the organization. The Immunization Nurse ensures that immunizations are completed accurately and on time. The Immunization Nurse should maintain a positive, safe and professional environment for patients, families and employees. They will perform these duties with confidence in all aspects of administering immunization shots, including processing requirements and inventory control by following established practices, protocols and procedures.

Minimum Education

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing/licensed practical nursing program.

2 years of prior clinic experience preferred
