Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers while ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Hours available are 1 PM - 6 PM, Mon-Fri. Weekend days are required. Both morning and afternoon shifts are available.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Operate cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately to process transactions.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively sell merchandise.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a well-presented shopping environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve store performance.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered in the store is a must.
