Part-Time Math and English Instructor – Millburn / Short Hills, NJ
Seriously Addictive Math (S.A.M.) – Singapore Math & English Enrichment
About S.A.M.
S.A.M. Singapore Math of Millburn / Short Hills is hiring passionate, dynamic part-time instructors to deliver our acclaimed math and English enrichment programs.
As the largest Singapore Math enrichment provider globally, with over 200 centers in more than 20 countries, S.A.M. offers award-winning programs recognized for building deep mathematical understanding and strong language skills in students ages 4 to 14.
Why This Role Matters
Families in Millburn and surrounding districts are increasingly turning to Singapore Math–based enrichment to support deeper learning.
Public school districts near our center, including Millburn Township, Livingston, Summit, South Orange and Maplewood, West Orange, Chatham, and Berkeley Heights—are known for their academic rigor and emphasis on conceptual learning. Several have adopted or piloted math programs inspired by Singapore Math, such as Math in Focus or Primary Mathematics, especially at the elementary and middle school levels.
Parents in these communities are seeking programs that go beyond memorization and worksheets and instead develop their child’s number sense, problem-solving skills, and logical reasoning. These are hallmarks of the Singapore Math approach used at S.A.M.
Our center complements in-school instruction, helping students build lasting confidence and mastery in both math and English.
