Due to expansion in our program services within the organization, we’re currently seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor for our Van Wyck Residential Facility located in Queens, NY.

In this role you will: Van Wyck area
Provide case management/addiction counseling/advocacy services to an assigned caseload and participate as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team to facilitate the client recovery/rehabilitation process.
What qualifications do you need?
- High School Diploma/GED, required.
- CASAC (preferred)/CASAC-T certification, in order to be considered for QHP you must have Bachelor's Degree (or Higher) in Human Services or related.
- Must have at least One-Three years counseling experience working with clients with substance use disorders and/or mental illness within an outpatient setting.
- EHR environment and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Additional Salary Details: The salary range and/or hourly rate advertised is a good faith estimate of compensation that may be offered to a potential candidate. The rate of pay is determined by several factors such as education, years of relevant experience, division, location, specialty, funding source, and credentials.
