What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Med Tech position at Samaritan Village?
This full-time Med Tech position is scheduled on a 4 day on / 2 day off rotating schedule. Our Med Techs are passionate about providing friendly, quality, and attentive service to our residents. The primary role is to carry out medication distribution and documentation following established guidelines. Med Techs may also assist on the floor with activities of daily living.
Shifts Available:
- PM Shift: working 2days 3:45p-12a and 2 days 2p-10:30p
Skills and abilities needed to be a Med Tech include:
- Good judgment and ability to recognize early signs of illness and/or the need for a higher level of care.
- Ability to perform a broad range of simultaneous duties.
- Great communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a team of dedicated employees across the Samaritan Village campus.
- Ability to work independently.
Requirements
Candidates are required to pass a pre-employment DOJ/FBI criminal record clearance, TB test, drug-screen, physical clearance, and employment history/professional reference verification. Must be 18 years of age or older and fluent in English. Must have, or be able to obtain, a First Aid Certificate.
