Our organization is growing, and we are looking to add a dispatcher to our Dallas office. The dispatcher is responsible for maximizing scheduling opportunities with our call center team for customers from our big box client by phone. We pride ourselves in our quality teams and associates. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This candidate must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action needed with little supervision while working well with all employees, sub-contractors and employees of our big box client; all working together to provide seamless customer service.
The dispatcher will act as a point of communication, receiving and dispatching orders for products and installations. We are a small company relying heavily on teamwork, flexibility, and the cohesiveness of our team. We work hard and we make the work fun!
Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Dispatch Supervisor and interacts with other managers
- Manage workflow by ensuring that deadlines are met, and tasks are completed correctly
- Routing customer appointments to be distributed to plumbers, daily
- Follow up with customers on scheduling
- Provides support to plumbers on job related issues/needs
- Updates job orders with information from plumbers and proactively resolves open issues
- Maintain positive associate morale
- Perform general clerical duties (e.g., copying, filing, etc.)
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
- Answer phones and resolve customer conflicts when needed
