Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Network Support to join the Management Information System team!
Description:
This is a full-time position typically working 8 hours a day. The selected applicant will be responsible for the overall troubleshooting and installation of hospital computers, printers and integrated equipment. Assists in training for new hardware / software updates and assist information systems staff with technical issues and software upgrades as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum Associate Degree in Information Systems or equivalent degree program.
- Minimum 1-year experience in network administration. Experience in a Healthcare setting preferred. Clinical training helpful but not required.
- Knowledge of IT systems including, but not limited to: TCP/IP, 802.llx, Windows desktop OS, Windows server OS, Microsoft Office Suite, backup technologies, printers, scanners and cell phones.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess outstanding troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively handle numerous issues simultaneously.
