POSITION SUMMARY
Engineer responsible for directing and coordinating the discipline technical effort on small to mid-size projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate detailed engineering work.
Prepare engineering and construction cost estimates.
Perform work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials and difficult coordination requirements.
Establish and maintain client contacts to seek or provide technical information related to the immediate project
Exercise initiative in adapting and applying procedures to address unusual situations and to resolve issues.
Use initiative and judgment to resolve problems, interpret engineering specifications, and investigate design and field engineering difficulties.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Sr. Engineer IV - Education = Bachelor's/Continuing Education; Experience = 10 years
Sr. Engineer III - Education = Bachelor's/Continuing Education; Experience = 12 years
Sr. Engineer II - Education = Bachelor's/Continuing Education; Experience = 14 years
Sr. Engineer I - Education = Bachelor's/Continuing Education; Experience = 15 years
