Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience while adhering to the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance the guest experience.
• Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to maximize sales opportunities.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining attention to detail.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation standards throughout service.
• Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Experience with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively through persuasive communication.
• Previous fine dining or restaurant experience is highly desirable.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and sanitation standards in the food industry.
