Toyota Field is currently seeking a Full-Time Operations Crew Lead. The prime function of this position is to provide support to the Building Operations department through routine maintenance and repair on machinery and setting, storing and carrying equipment required for the setup of various arena configurations. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating hand trucks and other vehicles as well as overseeing both part-time and full-time staff in the completion of these set ups for efficient and timely arena conversions.
What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for the set-up and re-configuration of the arena
- Performing repairs such as fixing drywall, painting and other facility repairs
- Maintain, assemble, and store facility equipment with care
- Help team with regular maintenance of all facility equipment
- Perform job duties in a safe manner, paying extra attention to personal safety, the safety of others, as well as equipment safety and care
- Execute assignments in an accurate and timely manner
- Other building operations responsibilities such as the building small risers
Who You Are:
- Dependability and flexibility to work irregular hours including weekends, and/or holidays
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Event industry experience preferred
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a clean & safe work environment
- Strong math and reading skills required to determine max load capacities and weights
- Ability to follow instructions and keep records track progress
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Strong communication skills and teamwork aptitude required
- Ability to work independently and multitask effectively and efficiently
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and perform duties which may involve bending, raising and lifting
- Stand/Sit/Walk for long periods of time
