Admissions Clerk - Part Time - San Diego Zoo

HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSION The Admissions Clerk under direction, trains, assists with scheduling and performs a variety of duties related to admissions and/or selling of tickets. This position reports to the Lead/Admissions Manager.   WHAT YOU WILL DO Handles all phases of selling admission tickets Maintains accurate records of all transactions Prepares memberships for processing Operates and balances cash register receipts Quote rates at the Zoo and Safari Park admissions Handles routine telephone calls concerning scheduled  Administers the admissions and ticket selling functions Follow Admissions policies and procedures Performs arithmetic calculations Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently Communicate effectively Interact well with a diverse group of people Deal tactfully and courteously with the public WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance is seeking an individual who is inspired to be part of an organization that is committed to protecting wildlife around the globe.
