San Ignacio University is currently looking for results-oriented professionals to join our team as an Admission Coordinator. The position's main objective is to manage educational recruitment for local and international recruitment.

The Admissions Coordinator will work with the SIU team to lead the expansion and overall growth of the San Ignacio University Programs by implementing the goals and objectives of the Admissions Department.

The Admissions Coordinator functions as the student advisor during the recruitment process for local and international students. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that all leads brought by the Marketing Department are included in our CRM system, receive the information, are contacted in the established time frame and receive the proper follow–up.

Essential Functions:

  • Act as the main point of contact for prospective students seeking information for admissions. Provide information to inquiries by phone or in-person on SIU programs.
  • Maintain an updated CRM with all leads by the campaign.
  • Obtain the necessary information from inquiries to be used for marketing research and follow-ups.
  • Perform follow-up (callbacks) to inquiries by phone and email.
  • Interview prospective students to assess their educational needs and explain the benefits and objectives of the SIU programs.
  • Deliver presentations and use provided marketing materials to promote the University.
  • Conduct tours of the University.
  • Perform necessary clerical work (data entry and documentation) in the department.
  • Attend training for product knowledge and continued professional development.
  • Coordinate all student recruitment, on and off-campus.
  • Work with the Admissions Director to ensure the effectiveness of the recruitment campaign
  • Maintain an appropriate level of follow-up (callbacks), contact
  • Discuss and review difficult inquiry calls and make recommendations
  • Assure all data entry, applications, and forms associated with the enrollment are processed accurately and timely
  • Prepare daily & weekly reports to discuss concerns, successes, and goal attainments.
  • Assist in coordinating all high school and other local recruitment and marketing events.
  • Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Presenting our company to potential clients
  • Travel to campuses as necessary
  • Perform other job-related responsibilities as requested by the Admissions Director.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Strong written communication and planning skills are required.

2. Effective interpersonal, organizational, and team-building skills are required.

3. Good computer skills necessary to set up document formats in Word, Excel, and any other software required for this position.

4. Ability to handle detail-oriented assignments and maintain confidentiality.

5. Additional job functions and the need to work a flexible work schedule may vary based on specific requirements of the department and the college.

Position Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS / ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES:

· two years of experience in College Admissions preferred.

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related.

· Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role

· Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)

· Track record of achieving sales quotas

· Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)

· Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)

· Understanding of sales performance metrics

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

· Bilingual: Spanish preferred

This job position is on-site in Miami, FL.

Pay: $41,600.00 per hour
