What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contracts Specialist position at San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission?
Under the direction of the Procurement and Contracts Manager, the Contracts Specialist works within the Procurement and Contracts Department and with other San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission (SJRRC) staff to ensure Agency procurements and contracts are in accordance with established guidelines and SJRRC's adopted Procurement Manual. The Contracts Specialist is expected to work independently and is assigned categories and/or contracts of more complexity and is responsible for drafting/composing and issuing bids, preparing contracts and/or purchase orders, and award documentation irrespective of dollar amount expended. Contracts Specialist performs a variety of tasks required for conducting and administering contract activities to provide or obtain goods and services. Tasks are sometimes confidential or complex in nature and must be performed in a manner that ensures the efficient and proper expenditure of public funds.

Salary : $31 - $46
