You take pride in keeping records accurate, supporting school operations, and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
As an Office Assistant - Attendance, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Managing student enrollment, registration, withdrawals, and transfers in accordance with district policies and state and federal requirements.
- Maintaining accurate, complete, and confidential student records, including cumulative files, attendance, enrollment data, and academic history.
- Entering, reviewing, and updating student information in district student information systems and databases.
- Serving as a primary point of contact for families regarding enrollment, records requests, and residency or documentation requirements.
- Supporting attendance reporting and compliance, including monitoring and correcting discrepancies.
- Coordinating record requests with other schools, districts, and agencies in a timely and secure manner.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including student privacy requirements (e.g., FERPA).
- Collaborating with administrators, counselors, attendance staff, and district departments to support student placement and services.
- Preparing reports and documentation required for audits, compliance reviews, or state reporting.
- Providing front-office and clerical support related to student records and enrollment processes.
- Maintaining organized files, schedules, and timelines to meet reporting deadlines.
- Performing other related duties as assigned to support school operations.
What you need for this position:
- Completion of 12th grade or equivalent, or any combination of education, experience, and training that is equivalent
