Duties & Responsibilities
Job Summary
This position is responsible for the instruction of course specific material within the School of Trades and Technology.

This position is responsible for the instruction of course specific material within the School of Trades and Technology.
Essential Responsibilities
- Will provide 15 credit hours of instruction per semester with a primary teaching load in Welding courses. Classes within the program includes Basic Welding, Blueprint Reading, MIG Welding, TIG Welding, Plate Welding, Metal Fabrication, and Pipe Welding.
- Responsibilities include assessment, service on various college and department committees, maintenance of office hours, and other duties as assigned by the Dean/Welding Program Coordinator.
Development of program specific curriculum, course guide, syllabi, and other materials related to the program.
Supervise instrumental adjunct teachers.
Performs related duties related to instruction, shop maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of an Associate Science Degree (Bachelor Degree is preferred) or Welding Certificates in a course of study related to the occupational field.
Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of an Associate Science Degree (Bachelor Degree is preferred) or Welding Certificates in a course of study related to the occupational field.
Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the objectives and functions of the Welding Program in order to instruct students, usually interpreted to require a minimum of five years of Journeyman level welding experience.
