Part time position.
SUMMARY:
The Dispatcher acts as a link for information to the Security department as it is communicated from guest, fellow team members and outside entities. Must be an ambassador of service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Includes but not limited to the following)
· Reports directly to the on-duty Security Supervisor.
· Responsible for the operation of security dispatch.
· Scan all Security incident reports, forward to appropriate individuals, and properly maintain files.
· Dispatches Security personnel to assignments, breaks, and incidents.
· Maintains the Security Department's daily log.
· Monitors and responds to telephone and radio traffic.
· Will operate paging system as needed.
· Must extend our culture of Friendliness and Cleanliness through Kindness, Dignity, and Respect in all telephone, radio, and other communications.
· Multi-tasking of the matters and incidents that happen throughout the shift.
QUALIFICATIONS:

· This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· No experience required
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members of the organization. Must be proficient in English.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
· Basic Hardware and Software skills
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
· Basic math skills
REASONING ABILITY:
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
· A Gaming License shall be granted after successful completion of a background check.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Should be able to adapt well to the casino environment, involving large numbers of people, loud and continuous high noise level. Must also be able to psychologically handle the concepts of persons occupying an establishment for the purposes of gambling, drinking, and eating for long periods of time.
