POSITION SUMMARY
At San Pedro Fish Market, our Guest Experience Coordinator is the key to managing the guest's experience and exceeding their expectations in our fast-paced, exciting and family-oriented restaurant.
The Guest Experience Coordinator must embody our "guest-first" attitude and be passionate about creating a memorable experience by managing the line, answering questions and properly directing guests to maintain an efficient flow throughout the restaurant.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Graciously and energetically greet all guests upon arrival and thank them upon departure.
- Maintain constant interaction with guests by answering questions, providing information and direction to create the perfect SPFM experience.
- Responsible for maintaining guest flow into the restaurant and appropriate seating levels by communicating effectively with fellow coordinators, crew members, and management.
- Provide guests with the Company's history, story and other interesting facts to create excitement and engagement.
- Maintain up-to-date information on our menu, fresh seafood offerings and restaurant layout.
- Uphold the cleanliness of the guest line and surrounding area.
- Always present a professional, warm, welcoming, and approachable demeanor, with a positive attitude, towards all throughout the work shift.
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of related experience in a similar work environment.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with others.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand an extensive variety of work-related instructions and documents pertaining to Company operations, safety, finance, HR, and payroll.
- Basic computer skills, including Internet use, E-mail, and typing skills.
- Ability to use the Companys timekeeping system and point of service system.
- Ability and willingness to learn and apply new work skill sets and concepts.
- Working knowledge of city, state, and federal hospitality laws and regulations.
