The resort encompasses over 180 units ranging from one (1) to six (6) bedrooms for guests to relax in during their stay. The Guest Services Attendant with Vacation Rentals at Sand Hollow Resort is responsible for supporting guests and maintaining public areas and shared spaces through the resort’s vacation rental properties. You will be mobile and guest-facing, delivering excellent customer service through light maintenance and real-time responses to guest needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys staying active, working independently, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle guest concerns and complaints with professionalism, escalating issues as needed to management
- Maintain a working knowledge of resort activities, events, amenities, and policies to assist guests effectively
- Troubleshooting electronics, including, but not limited to, televisions, remotes, thermostats, wi-fi connectivity issues, keypads, and locks
- Deliver amenities such as towels, linens, toiletries, batteries
- Ensure common areas are well-maintained, remove trash from receptacles, replace light bulbs and batteries, and replenish supplies in pool bathrooms
- Communicate clearly and promptly with resort departments
- Assist the Resort Desk in answering calls as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or tourism education a plus
- Previous guest service or front desk experience preferred, especially in a resort or vacation rental environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work Thursday through Sunday
- Friendly, professional demeanor and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 25 lbs
Schedule: Thursday thru Sunday, 4:00pm – 8:00pm/9:00pm
Pay: $12-$14/hr
