What are the responsibilities and job description for the MAKE READY position at Sandalwood Management, Inc.?
We are seeking a Make Ready Technician to join our team and help withmaintenance and general upkeep of a 276-unit community located in Dallas, TX - Birchwood Apartment Homes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Duties include performing various maintenance repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, masonry, carpentry, painting, building exteriors, and appliances
- Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance
- Schedule and complete preventative maintenance programs and special projects as required
- Lead maintenance department in order to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Work with the property manager on budget and projects.
WHAT WE NEED:
- 2 years of apartment maintenance experience and knowledge in repairs, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, building exteriors, appliance installations, etc.
- EPA Universal or Type II, preferred
- Valid driver’s license, required
- Ability to work on-call, evenings and weekends
- Successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug test
- Smart phone
COMPENSATION:
- $16 - $22/hr. depending on experience
- Monthly renewal commission and bonus opportunities
