Sandcreek Dental is a leading national provider in providing emergency dental services to patients across the Tillamook, OR region. We are committed to delivering quality direct-to-consumer care by using our breakthrough collaboration methods with our on-site medical team (Eagle Health). We provide much-needed emergency care to patients who otherwise would have to wait possibly days for pain relief. Our fee-for-service model and third-party financing allows our team to focus on delivering optimal treatment for our patients without having insurance companies dictate treatment. Due to continued growth, we are hiring full and part time dentists for our patient-centered clinic to join us in redefining the standard of care for emergency dentistry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and will be open to taking a new approach to dental care by collaborating with our medical team. They should be friendly, energetic, motivated, dependable, and organized with a cheerful attitude.
Requirements:
- Active Tillamook, OR dental license(s)
- Dental board certification as a board-certified individual practitioner (DDS/CMA/CBI) or licensed dentist (LADC/LMSW/LPCM)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (a plus but not required)
- Ability to work at least 2 full time shifts per week
- PPE required – OSHA 10 hour helmet
- Laptop or other computer-related equipment required
- Reliable transportation required
Responsibilities:
- Provide teeth cleaning, check appointments schedule, and manage appointments for the clinic
- Work with patients and their medical providers to determine appropriate treatments for common dental problems including crowns, bridges, extractions, and fillings
- Manage the clinical workflow from start to finish through rigorized management of patient time management software (S4HG)
- In consultation with management, update clinical forms within the OSH wiki and patient electronic charts within EHR software (Tricerox)
- Professional communication with patients via email, phone, and video (all styles) in order to address concerns, questions, and requests; offer solutions based on individual patient needs
- Professional handling of financial information from insurance plans including but not limited to disbursements and payments
- Professional storage of clinical materials in order to ensure secure patient records are stored in the appropriate clinical space(s).
