1st Shift Quality Assurance Technician

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Technician, you will play a crucial role in upholding our commitment to excellence. Key Role: Monitor and verify critical food safety processes to ensure our products meet top industry standards. Support & Teamwork: Work closely with our QA Supervisor and production teams to maintain a safe and high-quality production environment. Impact: Help ensure that the products leaving our facility are safe, compliant, and enjoyed by millions. Your Responsibilities: Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) across the plant to ensure food safety. Check key areas like chlorine concentrations, foot baths, mop stations, and temperatures. Inspect incoming products and verify the accuracy of scales. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), allergen control, and food safety practices. Oversee cleaning procedures and verify their effectiveness. Perform thermometer calibrations and handle equipment inspections during changeovers. Conduct micro-testing of raw ingredients and finished products. Perform daily quality and food safety checks, addressing deviations to maintain our HACCP plan. What You Bring: Education: A high school diploma or GED is required. Experience: Previous QA experience and HACCP certification are strongly preferred. Skills: Strong attention to detail, knowledge of food safety protocols, and experience with equipment like thermometers and scales. Physical Demands:This role requires standing and walking throughout the shift in varied temperatures, including cooking, refrigeration, and freezer areas. What’s in it for You?
