Sandy Animal Clinic needs an associate veterinarian who can provide exceptional veterinary care to companion animals. We are a fully functional veterinary hospital with in-house diagnostics, laser surgery, surgery suite, 3 dental stations, 3 exam rooms, digital radiography, and digital x-ray. We are networked in Salt Lake County for any referral work that may need to be performed.
The services we provide to the public are: surgery, vaccinations, health and wellness along with client education. We have a very experienced staff and promote professionalism with no drama. The veterinarian will be expected to perform surgery in addition to seeing patients in the clinic.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- Licensed in the state of Utah
- Confident in decisions and treatment plans outlined
- Works well in a team environment
- Dedication to client education and client relationships
- Commitment to practicing quality medicine
- Effective communication skills to interact with pet owners and staff members
- Manages time appropriately
- Positive attitude
- Assist with the management of the clinic and staff as needed
- Represent themselves professionally

- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and diseases
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Duties
- Perform medical procedures, such as: vaccinations, surgeries, and dental work
- Prescribe medications and treatments for animals
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and preventive measures
- Conduct laboratory tests and interpret results
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide comprehensive care for animals
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine
- Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
