Job title: Night Auditor Host

Reports to: Guest Relations Manager

Position Summary: To exemplify the Sandy Cove Guest Experience by delivering excellent service to guests and providing full information and proactive assessment of needs. To ensure all financial and in-house guest information is processed with accuracy and efficiently. To provide leadership to all guests and staff while serving during the overnight shift.
General Purpose: To provide overall excellent guest service to Sandy Cove Ministries’ guests and provide a warm and welcoming environment to meet their needs so that they can better connect with God and others and desire to return to Sandy Cove Ministries in the future.

Prior customer service work experience is preferred.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
¦ Verify all financial transactions match cash, checks, and credit card reporting for the day
Ensure all cash drawers, golf ball money, movie tickets, cash bags, gift certificates, and money in the safe are accurate
¦ Check c-status to ensure all guests are checked-out and checked-in properly
¦ Process Night Audit and prepare reports and finances for Finance Department
¦ Check voicemails on both reservation lines and record on call logs. Process as appropriate.
¦ Respond to all Reservations emails and inquiries
¦ Process all information necessary for on-line reservations to prepare for team to call during the day time.
¦ Verify and ensure accuracy in Personal Retreat meal counts for the following day
¦ Verify Chesadoodle count has been sent to the appropriate parties and entered onto meal count page
¦ Communicate with evening shift to fully understand all details from that shift – continue communication to morning shift
¦ Place appropriate number of luggage carts to serve scheduled departing guests in the Front Lobby after 4 a.m.
¦ Prepare coffee station for early morning guests after 4 a.m.
¦ Deliver any items at the Front Desk to their appropriate departments/mail room
¦ Point person for guests and staff in case of an emergency
¦ Organize and complete any work at the Front Desk in order to prepare for the next day – including, but not limited to cleaning lanyards and key cards, filling card bins, and consolidating excel room lists for in-house groups onto master page
¦ Be cross-trained in all essential job functions and responsibilities of Reservations Host, Finances Host, Lead Guest Host, Guest Host, and Front Desk Host
¦ Perform any other reasonable task assigned.
Essential skills and experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
¦ Excellent telephone etiquette
Must possess computer knowledge in Microsoft Word & Excel. Office 365 E-mail, and ability to learn and use internal computer software including but not limited to the Property Management System.
¦ Possess basic math aptitude including working with cash drawers.
Exemplify good organizational skills, be self-disciplined and able to multi-task & prioritize
¦ Proven ability to determine guest needs and service them accordingly.
¦ Ability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure
¦ Strong proofreading/double checking skills
