ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Distribute flight arrival/departure details to ramp crews and pilots.
- Communicate gate assignments and load info to ground handlers.
- Log and update flight schedules and aircraft turn times.
- Arrange accommodation for passengers impacted by delays.
- Respond to the flight crew and ground staff inquiries.
- Assist passenger agents as needed.
- Support planning of aircraft parking configurations.
- Complete administrative logs, records, and paperwork.
- Identify opportunities to improve airport efficiency.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:
- Radios and aviation communication systems.
- Flight info displays and gate assignment boards.
- Phones, computers, printers, fax machines.
- Baggage handling systems and equipment.
SKILLS:
- Prior dispatch or operations experience preferred.
- Aviation industry knowledge.
