Santa Anita Convalescent Hospital is looking for a full-time Infection Control Prevention Nurse (IP) to work alongside another full-time IP Nurse.
Position Summary: The IP nurse assumes the responsibility for the Infection Control program of the facility. The position involves responsibilities in areas of case findings, surveillance, reporting, analysis, interpretation, inspection, control measures, education, consultation, evaluation, and recommendations. Must be able to determine, prevent, and contain infectious outbreaks in a healthcare setting. Provides infection control program related to education of staff and residents. Responsible for tracking and analyzing trends of infection.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30PM * May have to work some weekends and overtime
Qualifications: Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse with an Infection Control Certificate
Experience: Desiring a minimum of 1 year in Infection Control
Salary : $57,000 - $72,200
