Manufacturing Engineer (80–90K)
Sapphire Recruitment is hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer to work for an established Manufacturer in the Binghamton, NY area.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead and support CI and Lean projects across production and operations
- Create and revise work instructions, process documentation, and job travelers
- Collaborate with team leads on process improvement and equipment upgrades
- Support new equipment implementations and facility efficiency initiatives
- Serve as a technical resource for resolving shop floor challenges
- Use ERP systems to support operations planning and production metrics
- Engage in hands-on problem solving, training, and team development
Education and Experience:
- 5–8 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Proficiency with AutoCAD; SolidWorks is a plus
- Prior involvement in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Kaizen events
- Strong troubleshooting, process improvement, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working across departments (Production, Quality, Maintenance)
