What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Unit Manager position at Sarah A. Reed Children's Center?
The primary duties of the Unit Manager are as follows:
- Provide leadership and direct supervision of all full-time, part-time and occasional staff in the Treatment / Living Unit
- Coordinate clients' treatment with the Treatment Team and Clinical Department
- Supervise the clinical aspect of the Unit
- Audit and prepare for a variety of on campus inspections by licensing and governing bodies
- Coordinate community activities and events
- Supervise and facilitate group and individual activities
- Bachelor's degree in social services or related field is preferred; or a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Previous experience working with children and youth, and/or involvement in the mental health field.
- Must be 21 or older
- Ability to obtain clearances for FBI fingerprints, PA criminal history, and Child Abuse history
- Proof of education
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
- Sunday – Tuesday: OFF
- Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday – Saturday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Salaried, Exempt
