Sarah D. Culbertson Memorial Hospital is seeking a full-time, on-site HIM Manager to join our team. Located in Rushville, IL, Culbertson is a 22 bed Critical Access Hospital. We are looking for a candidate that wants to become a long-term member of our family and lead Culbertson for years to come. Duties: Accountable for overall leadership, management, and operational oversight of health information in compliance with state and federal laws. Provides leadership, management, and operational oversight of Medical Staff services. Responsible for primary source validation for credentialing and maintaining privileges.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or extensive education and/or certifications in Health Information Management.
- Three years experience in hospital or clinic coding of both technical and professional components.
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state regulations for Critical Access Hospitals and Provider Based Rural Health Clinics.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (can be flexible)
