Saratoga Hot Springs Resort - Front Desk Associate
Overview: The Saratoga Hot Springs is a historic family owned resort in the Platte River Valley. Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a front desk associate/night auditor who is receptive, enjoys being part of a team and working together to provide a consistent high standard of customer service. Our Front Desk Associates will learn and be responsible for all matters relating to the front desk as directed by the Lodging Director and management team. Our ideal candidate is very self-driven, and accountable. Must have the ability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays and be on call when necessary. This position is considered an entry level position, and there is opportunity for growth for proven employees. Schedule will typically be 4pm-Midnight.
Basic Responsibilities of this position include:
· Assist guests to make, modify, cancel reservations as needed.
· Offer opportunity for guests to experience all services and amenities available at the resort in a professional, enthusiastic way that encourages upselling and additional revenue.
· Communicate clearly over the phone or at the counter to guests, employees, and other visitors of the resort.
· Fill out paperwork correctly/accurately with attention to detail.
· Communicate effectively and efficiently with other managers in different departments
· Perform all the duties of the front desk/check and count all monies and complete night audit
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize rationally and with purpose.
· Take corrective action if an issue has been brought to your attention
· Respond to guest requests and concerns, promptly and attending to guest needs with courtesy.
· Always displays a professional image through appearance and dress.
· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
1. A high school education or equivalent experience, with one to two years of employment related experience preferred.
2. Working knowledge of hotel/motel front desk is expected
3. Effectively communicate effectively with staff, management, and guests.
4. Ability to operate a two-way radio, general office equipment, including a computer, is expected.
5. This position requires continuous movement and standing, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push or pull up to 35 pounds.
6. Hospitality experience a plus.
7. Bilingual a plus.
