What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at Saratoga Medical Center?
Saratoga Medical is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for the Federal Correctional Institution in Waseca, Minnesota. We offer a competitive salary, PTO, paid holidays, medical benefits and the wonderful opportunity to provide care and services to our women.
Qualifications Required:
* Must have one year of experience as a Registered Nurse and one year of experience in a correctional environment is preferred
* Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse and have graduated from an accredited nursing program
* Monitor and evaluate response to therapy
* Maintain accurate logs of all reports in accordance with Bureau of Prisons and AAAHC Policy
* Assist mid-level practitioners and physicians in the management and oversight of chronic care clinics
* Possess knowledge of treatment of chronic health problems, i.e., hypertension, diabetes, and asthma
* Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
* BLS (must obtain an in-person Basic Life Support certification prior to your start date)
