Responsibilities

  • Coordinate/Manage the S&L engineering design of complex repair and restoration projects at nuclear facilities
  • Developing and managing schedules in collaboration with project teams and client leadership
  • Providing strong leadership and supervision to project teams (including project engineers and designers) in support of construction activities
  • Demonstrating dedication to safety and quality control on all projects
  • Ability to work with in the Protected Area (PA) with unescorted access
  • Demonstrated capability to successfully support the management of large construction projects
  • Identify & recommend enhancements to designs and ensure constructability and sensibility of in-process designs through past construction experience
  • Participate in design and constructability walk downs during the design process
  • Act as the focal point during the implementation of projects performed for nuclear plant outages or during online periods

Qualifications

We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.

 

  • 10 years of construction field engineering experience is required
  • Minimum 5 years working in a nuclear facility
  • Previous experience constructing projects in the nuclear power and energy industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with nuclear facility construction Project Support
  • Knowledge of and experience with nuclear safety including technical safety requirements, processes and reporting requirements
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Expert PC skills including Microsoft applications
