What are the responsibilities and job description for the Computer Technician position at SAU 58?
Under supervision of the Director of Technology, provides technical support to users including, but not limited to, technical advice on equipment setup and operation, general troubleshooting, and software installation and utilization. Perform skilled repair, and maintenance of all technology-related equipment as well as technical support for all technology-related systems.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Monitoring Help Desk ticketing system, phone, and email
Supporting one to one Chromebook deployment
Providing support as needed; including phone, onsite, and remote assistance
Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of all inventory and procedures
Troubleshooting operating systems including Windows, Chrome OS and related wired and wireless networks
Ideal candidate is highly motivated, friendly, and eager to learn. Training and professional development opportunities will be provided
Position requires traveling between 4 schools.
