Job Title: Grants Manager/Administrative Assistant

Location: SAU6 Claremont NH

Job Type: Full Time

Reports To: Assistant Superintendent of Schools

Position Overview:

This dual-role position requires a dynamic individual who can both manage our grant portfolio (75% of the role) and provide administrative support to the Assistant Superintendent  (25% of the role). The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Grants Manager (75%)

  1. Grant Research: Identify and research potential grant opportunities that align with our organization’s mission and goals.

  2. Grant Writing: Prepare and write compelling grant proposals, and ensure they are submitted before deadlines.

  3. Grant Administration: Manage all administrative aspects of the grant process, including compliance with grant requirements and preparing progress reports.

  4. Budget Management: Develop grant budgets and monitor grant expenditures to ensure funds are used appropriately.

Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent (25%)

  1. Office Management: Maintain office systems, including data management and filing.

  2. Communication: Handle incoming email, mail, and other material, and distribute them to the appropriate person/department.

  3. Scheduling: Arrange and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors.

  4. Record Keeping: Maintain records of decisions and ensure action items are clearly recorded for the management team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field

  • Proven experience in grant writing and administrative support

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
