Position Overview
SAVI EHS is seeking a qualified Safety Manager to represent a subcontractor crew on a high-profile construction project in Fayetteville, GA. This is a hands-on role requiring strong safety leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and procedures.
Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 10-hour shifts
- Saturday & Sunday: 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) efforts on-site.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
- Deliver site-specific safety orientations and toolbox talks.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA standards and client safety expectations.
- Support safe execution of work at heights and aerial work platform operations.
- Collaborate with subcontractor teams and general contractor to maintain a strong safety culture.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 510 and OSHA 30 certifications (required)
- NFPA 70E certification (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of working from heights and aerial work platforms
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and hazard mitigation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
