We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct telephone calls, screen for staff, and relay messages. Respond to general inquiries from staff, parents/guardians, and the public.
- Greet visitors, ensure proper sign-in, and direct them appropriately.
- Create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and emails using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Operate and troubleshoot common office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Enter and maintain accurate data in organizational systems and databases.
- Organize and maintain both digital and paper filing systems.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail; receive and sign for deliveries.
- Maintain the conference room schedule and related logs.
- Monitor office supply inventory and submit timely purchase requests.
- Provide basic assistance and training to staff on office tools and software.
- Support the office and organization through additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or administrative training preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people.
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Previous office experience preferred.
Hours of Work:
Flexible hours between 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
20 hours per week
