Position: Forklift Operator - BBK
The forklift operator works to continuously improve the quality of processes in the areas of storage, shipping, receiving, and overall organization/sanitation of the distribution center.

Bio: Operators utilize a forklift, the RF WMS system and manual labor to receive, store, maintain, pick, and load products all while ensuring safety is paramount while performing their work responsibilities.

Role: Team Member
Detailed Role: Understand and comply with safety requirements of position; keep safety top of mind at all times and prevent co-workers from working unsafely. Report all safety concerns and all accidents and near misses immediately. Participate in safety inspections, accident investigations, and continuously strive to improve the safety program. Keep workplace clean and free of debris at all times. Always think (I AM SAFETY!) mind on task eyes on task!

Role: Team Member
Detailed Role: Understand and work with established standards to deliver the highest and most consistent levels of excellent customer service. Own the standard operating procedures for the specific job. Continuously improve quality driven actions that lead to the award winning results through daily activities. Constantly seek for ways that a forklift operator can ensure the best customer service possible.

(4) Environmental and Safety Regulatory & Legal Compliance
Role: Team Member
Detailed Role: Perform job in a responsible manner and in compliance with Company procedures and applicable rules. Ensure that if tasks take you into an area other than the DC to abide by other area or job specific

regulations. Be prepared to make suggestions which may help continuously improve these areas.

(6) Performance Development System (PDS) - Improving Skills
Role: Team Member
Detailed Role: Improve at least one skill each year as agreed with supervisor. Operators must continuously improve their abilities to use a forklift, the RF WMS system and manual labor to receive, store, maintain, pick, and load products. Deliver on performance against outcomes.

(7) CDS - Developing Your / Others Careers
Role: Team Member
Detailed Role: Develop the skills needed to attain the desired career path within the organization. Individuals are responsible for identifying their own career goals and communicating same to their supervisor.

(8) Continuous Process Improvement
Role: Team Member
Detailed Role: Continually seek ways to improve performance as measured by departmental Key Performance
Indicators. Actively engage in keeping work area and facility grounds up to the established standards.
Performance will be measured by KPIs and the BPTW surveys. New products are developed, produced and shipped on schedule, in full and meet agreed upon quality standards.

Requirements

Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.: Preferred
Good vision and manual dexterity.: Must
High School diploma or GED equivalent: Must
No less than 12 months continuous experience in every previous job: Preferred
No less than 6 months continuous experience in every previous job: Must
Previous experience in manufacturing, landscaping or warehouse environment: Must
Strong interpersonal skills: Preferred
At least 18 years of age: Must
