The Product Manager position will help SBS continue to grow our offerings by leading our Ecommerce, Software Development, Client Experience, and Client Services initiatives. This role will have a keen eye for gaps in client product offerings and will complete effective market analyst to prove a strategy to obtain our business objective. This role will manage the full lifecycle of product production — from conception through release to improve client experience and grow market share. It will coordinate efforts with executive leadership team members from sales, accounting, service, and growth and innovation.

  • Bachelor's degree is required

What to Expect

In this role you will:

  • Drive the product and business-planning process across cross-functional teams of the company
  • Analyze client needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective
  • Assess current product competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation
  • Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re successfully achieved
  • Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments
  • Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate to-market plans
  • Ensure effective communication of product initiatives organizational wide
  • Help to oversee the design, manufacture and planning of products plus draft a how to market and promote the product to the client's plan
  • Provide management with analyses, key data reports and data tracking
  • Prepare to respond to questions and requests from management
  • Specify and oversee the research needed to determine the needs and desires of clients
  • Establish accurate revenue projections and expenses for reaching strategic business objectives and budget development and adherence
  • Product and management responsibility includes but not limited to: TRAC, KnowBe4, Verify, and Ecommerce Storefront

 

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams
  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
  • Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans
  • Collaborate closely with development, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates SBS CyberSecurity and its features across primary market segments


Qualifications and Experience

  • Master's degree in related fields is preferred
  • Previous software and web development experience
  • Experience developing, promoting, and selling educational product offerings such as webinars, conferences, and seminars
  • Proven experience working as a product developer in a non-managerial role
  • Demonstrable knowledge in SEM and online advertising
