We are looking for an experienced, responsible, motivated, energetic and cheerful Medical Assistant to help in our growing internal medicine practice in Dearborn.
Responsibilities include providing basic medical care services to patients (e.g., reviewing patients' history, taking vital signs, etc.), operating simple medical equipment (e.g. EKG, PFT, etc.), responding to patients' phone calls (e.g., making appointments, prescription refills, referrals, etc.) and performing various other clerical and administrative duties.
The applicant must be capable of multi-tasking and must demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology, ability to use computer applications, understanding of medical insurance coverage, and familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. **Experience with EPIC EMR is highly desirable .
Excellent growth potential for qualified individuals. Starting pay rate will be determined based on qualification and experience.
