Earth Science Teacher Role
This position reports to the cohort and building principal. The Earth Science Teacher is expected to develop in each student an understanding of Earth's systems and human impact on these systems. The Earth Science Teacher will plan and deliver lessons and laboratory activities, grade assignments, communicate student achievement and complete additional required duties assigned by principals. This position requires a high degree of enthusiasm, organization, and creativity.
Earth Science Teacher Expectations
· Provide students with Earth Science content knowledge and provide opportunities to apply that knowledge to real world applications;
· Assist students in developing critical thinking and 21st century skills;
· Integrate technology into classrooms and laboratory experiences
