Schmidt’s Wholesale is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Inventory Control and Warranty Specialist to monitor inventory levels, ensure stock availability, and process warranty claims in a timely manner. This role involves physical activity, such as lifting and stocking items up to 50lbs. Ideal candidates will have excellent analytical skills, and a business-oriented mindset.
Job duties include:
· Review and Update item data records for accuracy
· Perform inventory adjustments
· Monitor inventory and collaborate with sales and purchasing to review inventory availability.
· Organize and restock shelves, including handling boxes up to 50lbs.
· Serve as a point of contact to customers, answering warranty-related questions and working to resolve concerns.
· Assist in resolving shipping delays, damaged goods, missing items, or incorrect shipments.
· Work with accounting to reconcile all warranty receivables
Qualifications:
· Electrical, Plumbing or HVAC knowledge
· Previous experience in inventory management is a plus.
· Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Solid organizational skills: Ability to self-manage workload
· Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
· Proficient with computers including Microsoft Excel and Word
