What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at Schmitt Woodland Hills?
Looking for a maintenance employee with experience or someone with a good attitude that is willing to learn! Pay will be based on experience.
Job duties include but are not limited to general maintenance, timely completion of work orders, daily maintenance checks on heating, cooling,and hot water systems. Preventative maintenance tasks, maintain required preventative maintenance records. Identify potential maintenance problems and offer plans of correction. Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs of downed equipment. Make recommendations for repair or discuss issues/concerns with your supervisor. Maintain records of repairs. Become knowledgeable in proper floor care techniques and perform floor care as scheduled or needed. Responsible for mowing and trimming of grounds. Assist in maintenance of fountains and other outside assets. Perform snow removal from sidewalks, fire exits, stairs, etc. as needed. Maintain safe level of lighting throughout building and grounds. Keep shop, mechanical rooms, and garage clean. Conduct security checks of buildings and grounds as scheduled or needed. Repair, sand, and paint walls ceilings and floors as might be necessary. Other tasks as assigned.
Must be able to lift 75 to 100 pounds. Often in combination with bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling. Involves continuous standing and walking. Working at heights or on irregular surfaces. Requires adequate vision and hearing to perform job tasks. Ability to remember verbal/written instructions and tasks. Valid Wisconsin license required. Ability to read and follow written requests and instruction.

Pay: $18.50 - $23.00 per hour
