What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Intelligence Analyst position at Schneider Electric?
Schneider Electric is currently recruiting top undergraduate and graduate students to join our full time United States based rotational development program in 2023. We have an outstanding full-time opportunity for a motivated individual to assume the role of Business Intelligence Analyst in our Nashville, TN location, starting end of August.
We are looking for an experienced BI Analyst to assist in growing the analytical capabilities within Sales Operations that give our US sales leaders the data and insights they need to manage and grow their business. This role will have a particular focus on ETL, data architecture, and data builds, helping us consolidate, scale, and simplify our reporting backend to enable quicker and more consistent reporting insights.
This rotational development program is designed to give recent graduates a second to none hands on experience working in multiple teams within our manufacturing, distribution center and/or our corporate HUB sites.
The Program consists of six different tracks that a talent could be placed into based on interest and education/background.

Quality | Customer Satisfaction
Safety, Environment and Real Estate (SERE)
Participants in either track will experience a variety of rotations in two or more US Global Supply Chain locations — one year per location.
These rotations enable participants to gain a multitude of broad experiences, networking opportunities, leadership and other personalized development as well as unique exposure to local, regional and global teams.
What do you get to do in this position?
- Partner with business and other domains within Sales Operations to lead end-to-end analytics projects from initial scoping to development, testing, and release
- Design, test, and implement analytic solutions using Alteryx, SQL, and other tools
- Spearhead highly visible projects to bring together different systems & data across the US organization to provide centralized & agile reporting to senior leaders
- Build impactful data visualizations using Tableau or other software to drive business insights
- Identify and lead opportunities for process automation and simplification
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to apply knowledge and creativity to resolve complex issues
- Technical Experience with:
- ETL/data blending tools and processes (e.g. Alteryx, Informatica, AWS Glue)
- Database/data architecture (e.g. SQL, Redshift, Snowflake)
- Data visualization (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Domo, Qlik)
- Strong communication skills, especially communicating technical concepts and ideas to non-technical audiences
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Early career - Grad to 2 years max for rotational program
- BS/MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with focus in Data and Analytics
