Job Description:
The School District of Milton is seeking energetic individuals for a School Psychologist (1.0 FTE) at Northside Intermediate School (4th-6th Grade) This position will begin August 2024. Come join our team in educating and guiding our students to success in the future!
A competitive starting salary of $57,394 (2023-24 starting salary) is offered for a 190-day contract for individuals that have a Master’s degree. Additional compensation is available for candidates with prior years of teaching experience in public education and additional education beyond a Master’s degree. A competitive benefits package is also included.
Qualifications:
The School District of Milton is seeking individuals who will engage students in the learning process. Candidates should be organized, flexible, have strong communication skills, and the ability to provide comprehensive school psychologist services to include assessment, consultation, collaboration, and interventions for students in a 4th to 6th grade setting. The successful candidates will be able to: demonstrate knowledge and skills regarding assessment of young children with disabilities, effective inclusive practices, positive behavioral interventions, and best practice for students with a wide range of abilities and disabilities; work collaboratively with colleagues as a positive and substantial contributor to the school and district; assume a leadership role in the implementation of district initiatives, Section 504 evaluation processes, and special education service delivery.
